The 2010 holiday season was good to us and went out with a bang. Our anniversary is the 30th of November so that always starts the season for us. We had dinner at the Melting Pot and saw "Morning Glory" which I can't say I recommend, it was only okay. The next few weeks were followed by my friends annual Christmas party including dinner at Texas roadhouse...Yum! Mama bears birthday (also at Texas Roadhouse...yum again), a family wedding, Ty's family in town, enjoying their family traditions, The Miracle at 2600, a carriage ride through downtown on christmas eve, the George's annual pajama exchange followed by a feast of fingerfoods, our best christmas morning yet being that Santa is now visiting an almost 3 yr old, holiday gathering at my grandmas which included BINGO!Movie hopping New years day and New Years Eve at Mandi's with some of the best friends I could ask for! Here's to 2010, and an exciting new 2011.

I am turning a new leaf....again!

I have decided to give bloggong another go. I realized through one of my best friends that blogging is a must when you have kids living in your house. I was far better about taking pictures back when I knew they were going up on my blog...it was a helpful reminder that my life is going on around me and I was slacking at capturing it. So here we go again!

I am going to try catching everyone up on the last year and a half since I have blogged, in less than 50 words (to try to keep from boring you).
We bought a house, best decision as a couple yet. Tyler changed his degree: Tech sales, which was wise on his part. I am working in Young Womens with the Laurels. Love it! I changed Salons, Sheer Indulgence is my new home.I've learned patience. I really appreciate life currently! 50 words exactly...thats gotta be a record!

I promise more more frequent posts to come and also some Christmas pics.(with any luck I will find my camera with all of them on it)

Mommy's Day

This mothers day was really fun, although it was like every other holiday wh had a lot of people to see and a lot of places to be. We went to my parents ward ( at 9 a.m. OUCH!) since my mom wanted us to be there all together as a family and then had brunch. Later we came home and went on a sunday stoll on the 4 wheeler, which Jace seriously loves....he fell asleep! Thanks family for an awesome M-Day!!
Ever since Jace turned one he has been up to a lot of "no good" but I think it's great! We have had a lot of moments where we could't get to the camera fast enough, but here are just a few and as you can see he wants to do a lot of big kid stuff like brush his teeth, put things in his hair, etc.

When things get quiet....it always gets funny!

Our baby is one? What?????

Baby Jace celebrated his first birthday on the 10th of march! It is always so fun to have all your family and friends out for these things, you really see how much support you have even for silly little things like letting your baby tear into a cake for the first time! It was really fun but as you can see he was unsure for a minute like most other babies but then he dove right in!!! What a great day it was and it is really one we will not soon forget! Any parent I'm sure can agree that time starts flying by when you have kids around and before you know it your newborn is one! P.S. To anynoe who has a baby turning one, Albertsons gives you a cake for your babies first birthday for free! (Granted they are not the cutest, but then you don't feel so bad when they destroy it right?)

Christmas and some other fun things!

So as you can imagine this was the greatest Christmas ever! Jace was showered in gifts of course from grandmas and grandpas and we were so excited just to have him here! Grandma Jenny got the babies Kyle Korver jerseys since my family are insane Jazz fans and it seriously is the cutest thing I have ever seen. The ordaments you see are part of our little family tradition to pick a new one every year about a week before christmas and write our names on it an before long we will be able to have the fun tree with all of our odds and ends ordaments and the pretty "mommy tree" seperate :)
